Walton Brown launched the country’s flagship luxury department store, Maison Mode, in Shanghai over two decades ago. Featuring more than 80 brands – many, like Salvatore Ferragamo, Yves Saint Laurent and Elizabeth Arden appearing in China for the first time – it became a fashion landmark and a winner of the highly prestigious ‘Superbrands’ award. Walton Brown continued to introduce consumers across the country to globally renowned labels with the opening of Maison Mode in Chengdu in 2007, followed by store openings in Changsha and Urumqi in 2008.
The company’s successful management of authentic inventory with Maison Mode inspired it to create an outlet business model, culminating with the launch of the game-changing Times Outlets.
Our branded value retailing business, Times Outlets, offers a wide range of international and local luxury, premium and contemporary fashion brands, in a setting that combines dining and entertainment for a one-stop destination.
The first Times Outlets, which opened in Chengdu in 2009, is ranked among the top five outlets in China and now represents 250 premium brands, including Salvatore Ferragamo, Tod’s, Burberry, Coach, Armani, Bally, Hugo Boss, Cerruti 1881, Givenchy, MaxMara, Canali, Joyce, Lane Crawford and Pedder. International brands include adidas, Aquascutum, Brooks Brothers, Calvin Klein Jeans, Club Monaco, DKNY Jeans, GAP, Gieves & Hawkes, Guess, Juicy Couture, Lacoste, Moschino, Nike, Ports 1961 and Tommy Hilfiger.
A 1.3 million square foot site is scheduled to open in Changsha in 2016.
